Grand National Association:
Omaha (10) at Providence (1): Tom Lee (28-6.0) (20-13) over Tom Blomberg (28-4.7) (19-18). Lee allowed 4 hits, 2 walks and struck out 4. At bat, he walked twice. RF Hank Roberts (27-3.0) had 2 hits, scored 2 runs and had 2 RBIs. SS Rube Ford (35-5.1) had 3 hits, stole a base, scored a run and had 2 RBIs.

Milwaukee (5) at Kansas City (12): Al McClaughry (22-5.6) (18-22) over Zachary Buchanan (25-4.0) (17-24). McClaughry bruised his finger running the bases and only pitched 5 innings. He allowed 1 run, 3 hits, 1 walk and struck out 1. At bat, he had a hit, scored a run and had 2 RBIs. He should be fine in 3 or 4 days. Dan Butler (29-4.7) pitched the final 4 innings. SS Fred Umbaugh (25-5.4) had 3 hits, stole a base, scored 3 runs and had 3 RBIs. LF Lou Baggett (24-4.2) had 4 hits, stole a base, scored a run and had 5 RBIs.
