I finally finished up my own list for Anglo-Canadian last names, and thought I'd share it as well. It's based mainly off of Joefromchicago's great set that I mentioned above, but with all Canadian last names (non-French) in the history of the NHL, putting the count at over 7,000 names. One of the things it did was add a little more Eastern European/German/Russian variety that is interesting about Canadian names to the mix (though things are still quite anglo-sounding one the whole).
Please note that most Italian names were excluded, as I use those as a separate nationality. FWIW, I use 80% Canadian, 15% French/French Canadian, 3% Italian, 1% Chinese, 1% Indian, manually anglicizing unusual Italian and Chinese first names.
