Cheslor Cuthbert continues to make his case to be the starting third baseman next season, as he hit another home run. Starting pitcher Erik Johnson only lasted 4.2 innings, but new acquisition Mike Foltynewicz provided 2.1 innings of scoreless relief to pick up the win.

LP: Tyler Thornburg (6-11, 3.21)

The Lumberjacks were held to just 4 hits, as Chris Sale pitched very well for 7 innings. Tyler Thornburg was once again a victim of no run support, as he falls to 6-11 despite having a good ERA.

In one of the craziest games of the season, Indianapolis came out on top with a 9-8 win. There were 5 lead changes, with the final one happening in the 9th when Taylor Featherston hit a walk off single.
