We begin a 3 game series with manager/LF Hi Lynch (35-7.5) and his Gothams today. We are 5-4 against them so far on the season and swept them in 3 games in Detroit at the beginning of the month the last time we met. They are 7th in the League in runs scored with 4.5 per game (Detroit is 4th with 5.1). They are 2nd in runs allowed with 4.1 (Detroit is #1 with 3.9). The Polo Grounds is the toughest place to hit this year in the Liberty League, though you CAN hit them out to right with a good blast, but you can just forget about hitting them over the leftfield fence.

Detroit Wolverines (47-22 .681 1st place in the Liberty League) at
New York Gothams (34-32 .515 11.5 GB in 4th place)
