perhaps some screenshots showing some score screens or a schedule and maybe player stats. Player stats being high does make sense, so some proper numbers in a sceeenshot to work off of might help explain the weird scores you are getting.
I never play 162 game seasons and have never had issues. Although Im also less aware of the norms of the MLB so I may miss some things being a bit high/low
