CF Fred Bianco (27-6.9) led off the game with an inside-the-park home run and we were off to the races.

McLeod gave us 11 hits, 1 walk and struck out 4. At bat, he had a hit and a walk, scored a run and had an RBI.

We had 16 hits and made 1 error. Boston made 6, 4 of them by 2b Mike Stables (30-7.1)

CF Fred Bianco had 2 hits with a home run, scored 3 time and had 3 RBIs. 3B Sam Boullion (26-4.8) had 4 hits, scored a run and had an RBI. 1B Sam Cowan (30-5.1) had 3 hits with a double, stole a base, scored a run and had 3 RBIs. LF Ben Smith (26-6.7) had a hit and scored 2 runs. RF Jackie Porter (31-6.3) had a hit and a walk, scored a run and had 2 RBIs. 2B Jocko Cole (24-6.1) had 2 hits with a triple, scored 2 runs and had an RBI.

For Boston, C Hub West (32-6.7) had 2 hits with a home run, scored 2 runs and had 2 RBIs.

Liberty League:
Cincinnati (6) at Indianapolis (5): Bert Fischer (25-5.6) (6-3) over Dad Marshall (27-4.4) (6-7). Fischer allowed 11 hits, 2 walks and struck out 4. Marshall allowed 8 hits, 2 walks and struck out 7. 3B Adam Trombley (32-6.8) hit a double and a home run and had 2 RBIs. For the Hoosiers, rookie 1B Jerry O'Connell (24-4.9), in his major league debut, had 3 hits with a double, scored a run and had an RBI.

Cleveland (6) at New York (9): Jack Roberts (34-6.1) (9-4) over Ed Pedersen (24-5.1) (6-7). Roberts allowed 11 hits, 3 walks and struck out 6. At bat, he had 2 hits and a walk and scored 3 runs. He has won 3 in a row and 8 of his last 9. LF Joe Olson (29-6.8) had 3 hits, stole a base, scored a run and had an RBI. Rookie SS Dave Hay (24-5.7) will miss 3 to 4 weeks with a bone bruise in his wrist. For Cleveland, 2b Jesse Flanders (26-5.4) had 4 hits, scored a run and had 2 RBIs.

Philadelphia (2) at Rochester (1): Ted Ryther (32-4.3) (4-10) over Ed Hodges (26-3.2) (4-7). Ryther allowed 8 hits, 1 walk and struck out 4. At bat, he had a hit. Hodges allowed 6 hits, 2 walks and struck out 3. At bat, he hit a triple and scored a run. He has lost 3 in a row, but has pitched well in each of the games. C Andy Runnels (29-7.8) had 2 hit. He tripled in the 9th and scored on a wild pitch to break the 1-1 tie. He also threw out all 4 runners that tried to steal a base.

Grand National Association:
Milwaukee (10) at Baltimore (11) in 10 innings: Bill McGee (28-7.9) (2-0) in relief of Tom Wilmarth (26-5.4) over Zachary Buchanan (25-4.0) (11-8). 2B Billy Moore (30-7.0) hit a 2-out single in the bottom of the 9th to tie the game and LF Clarence Reis (35-5.0) hit a 2-out single to win the game in the bottom of the 10th. Reid had 3 hits, scored a run and had 2 RBIs. RF Val Cornell (28-3.5) had 4 hits, stole 2 bases, scored 2 runs and had 3 RBIs.

Providence (8) at Kansas City (9): Lew Burnett (25-4.5) (5-2) in relief of Dan Butler (28-4.7) over Ed Wison (25-7.3) (11-7). In 2 innings, Burnett allowed a hit and a walk. The Cowboys scored 4 times in the bottom of the 9th to win. 3B Al Sarbacker (25-4.8) only had 1 hit, but it was a 2-out bases-loaded triple in the bottom of the 9th to end the game. LF Lou Baggett (24-4.2) had 3 hits with a triple, scored a run and had 3 RBIs. For the Grays, ss Bill Loschiavo (28-5.8) had 4 hits with a double, scored 2 runs and had 2 RBIs. He looks to be getting out of a 2-year slump. In his last 7 games, he has 14 hits.
