Not a real PITA except for the wrinkle that you have to somehow delete the skin folder(s) while the game is running. The install file has the old skins and installs them (which work fine as long as you don't customize any images). However, downloading and installing the new skins over them does not change a certain set of files from which skin.bin is rebuilt.
You cannot delete the current skin folder with the game off because it will not start without it. So, you must start the game, then delete the skin folder(s), then install the new skin(s) from Add-Ons Central. Turn off the game and then do the customization, delete skin.bin, etc.
Got that? 
Trouble is, I don't know how the next patch is going to affect this. Probably have to do it all over again.  |
I couldn't get AOC to refresh so I manually downloaded them. Can't test because my Leaderboard Appearances is messed up.
I REALLY wish Markus would change the way he patches though.. I have to re-setup my baseball cards, size of the ball in the 3d view, etc.. with each patch.
It's starting to become a real PITA.
I understand some things change and need the updated files, but it shouldn't overwrite my baseball cards or change any settings like the baseball size, etc...
