I realize that I left out the rest of the message that I meant to include, and so I will add some more:

It would be great for even more (and more frequent) situational PbP - how Batter X has performs against Pitcher Y; Batter X's average at home this month; how Batter X is doing while batting 7th ...

The little things that good baseball announcers highlight when they broadcast a game, because sometimes there are little gems in those details that I/we would otherwise miss.

The fact that (in real life) Tony Gwynn batted over .400 against Greg Maddux and Eckersley amongst a few others is one of those interesting tidbits that makes the game all that more immersive.

I play out all of my games - a random debut historical league that began in 1974 (currently in 1978), where I am the (unfireable) manager and my roster is at the whim of the GM and Owner - until I am eliminated from the playoffs.

Sometimes during the grind of the long seasons when my team is good enough to still be in contention, but not good enough to close the gap on the division leader, those little PbP details would be a nice addition.
Consider joining beta specifically for PbP. I'm sure pstrickert could use the help.
