NFL hits are far more reckless. You can see in the video that the guy doesn't use any extra force than is necessary to bring him down. He doesn't throw his body through the player. He drives his body into him and wraps him up into a takedown.
Reducing the padding in the NFL might be a solution to some of their issues.
