The fans of the Alleghenys are happy that their team has managed to keep tabs on the leaders in the NL and are hoping the good form can be continued for a pennant push. The team won 15 of their 25 games in June. They are now in second place in the NL table, 3 games behind the leaders.

The following players made the AL All Star Squad for this year. Pitchers Charlie Buffinton, John Clarkson and J Fisher, Second Baseman Jim Fogarty and Left Fielder Mike Dorgan.
Most of the injury news was good for the Alleghenys during the month of June. They had three players return from injury during the month. These were Catcher Jack Clements, Short Stop Paul Radford and Short Stop Nick Scharf. The one bit of bad news was the loss of Catcher Sam Trott for 3 weeks with shoulder tendinitis.
Right Fielder Mike Dorgan continued his good season in June. He managed to pick up 29 hits in 94 at bats during his 25 games. He scored 11 runs and 12 RBI's for an average of .309
