Cubs ace
Curt Schilling tore his rotators cuff during the NLCS. The best pitcher in the NL will miss the next 9 months at a minimum. Without
Schilling, baseballs best team is vulnerable.
The
Schilling injury puts these teams on even ground. His pressence would have made the
Cubs the favourites, but that ship has sailed.
Chicago's offense was better then
Minnesota's, but i still like the
Twins hitters better.
Javy Lopez and
Mark McGwire have higher ceilings, and could be difference makers in this series.
