Two things regarding rehab assignments:

1) I'm pretty sure the AI doesn't use them. So maybe there is no actual benefit other than postponing a roster decision.

2) If a player is placed on the DL in real-life, he can go out on a rehab assignment before his 15 (or 60) days on the DL has elapsed. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure that doesn't happen in game.

I guess whenever one of my players becomes healthy (his injury days are 0), he's already been on the DL his required amount of time, and I typically don't DL players who are going to be out for less than 2 weeks, give or take. If I put a guy on the 15-day who has an injury the game says will only keep him out say 8 days, can I send that guy out on a rehab assignment once that 8 days has passed?
