I figured out a way to match the Korean OOTP fielding ratings to the Japanese OOTP fielding ratings to generate fake but logical fielding stats for the Koreans by year and position and even secondary positions.
Then I used those matches to roll back as many Korean players as I could each year to 2009. That is about 2,600 player years.
Doing this by hand would have taken a year or two but the computer processed it all in 3 or 4 seconds. It took a couple of hours to write the program but wowzers that is pretty spiffy.
I need to clean up the Korean players that did not have matches and I'll be done.
There will be a new Spritze download sometime in the next week or two. The changes will be the additional Japanese and Korean players and changes to the MLE formulas for all players.
