The wind was blowing out and Troy had the hitters to take advantage of it and we did not. The Haymakers hit 3 balls over our fences.

In 6 innings, Bush allowed 11 hits, 1 walk and struck out 1.
Keough went 3 innings, allowed 4 hits, 2 walks and struck out 1.

Lamb gave us 7 hits, walked 1 and struck out 3. We did not score until the 9th inning.

We made 6 errors and Troy made 1.

2B Jocko Cole (24-6.1) hit a double. LF Spider Thomas (29-4.6) had 3 hits and an RBI.

For Troy, RF Jake Howard (26-4.6) had 2 hits with his 6th home run of the year, a walk and 3 RBIs. SS Bill Lawson (29-6.9) had 3 hits with a double and his 3rd home run of the year and scored twice. LF Monte Moody (27-6.9) had 2 hits with a double, scored 3 runs and had an RBI.

New York (10) at Cleveland (5): Jack Roberts (33-6.1) (6-5) over Jim Ludwig (25-4.6) (12-22). Roberts allowed 9 hits, 3 walks and struck out 2. The Gothams pounded out 19 hits. LF Joe Olson (29-6.8) had 4 hits with a double, a walk, stole 2 bases, scored a run and had 2 RBIs. SS Bill Baker (23-3.6) had 3 hits and a walk, scored 2 runs and had 2 RBIs.

Rochester (4) at Washington (8): Lou Townley (23-3.4) (28-30) over William Rose (34-4.9) (10-24). Townley allowed 8 hits, 1 walk and struck out 6. RF Ted Steeves (23-4.2) had 3 hits with 2 doubles and scored a run. 1B Willie Burton (30-8.5) had 3 hits, scored a run and had 2 RBIs.

Boston (1) at Cincinnati (2) in 10 innings: Bert Fischer (24-5.6) (4-3) over Joe Peters (29-4.9) (37-14). In 10 innings, Fischer allowed 2 hits, 6 walks and struck out 6. Boston scored their run in the 1st inning. Go Reds! This loss by Boston counts just as much as ours to Troy....still tied!

C Jim Granier (30-5.7) had 3 hits, scored a run and had an RBI. For the Grays, RF Alex Carroll (28-4.4) had 3 hits with a triple, scored a run and had 3 RBIs.

Kansas City (6) at Baltimore (5): Al McClaughry (21-5.6) (27-11) over Pop Yurkovich (33-5.6) (19-37). McClaughry allowed 9 hits, no walks and struck out no one.
