And why would that be? I don't know what basis there is for assuming so. Claiming that DX 9 is "buggy" just complicates things. There are hundreds of us who have no trouble whatsoever with DirectX 9- and if this individual does have DirectX 9, I don't think it's fair to ask him to reinstall Windows just to see if it's causing the problem.
