I play a NL team, with no DH and no inter league play.
Sometimes I want to play a lineup with CF "Slick Fielder", and other times I want to play a line-up with 3B "Larry Sluggo". Slick Fielder bats 2nd when he plays, and Larry Sluggo bats 5th when he plays.
I also have a player named "Champ Flexstar" who plays both 3B and CF. Champ Flexstar plays in all the games - plays 3B (and bats 5th) in the Slick Fielder line-up, and plays CF (and bats 2nd) in the Larry Sluggo line-up.
Pretty simple setup, and Custom Lineups appears to be designed for exactly this situation. However, whenever I choose the Larry Sluggo lineup, a DH-related error message pops up, and Slick Fielder completely disappears from the depth chart (leaving vacant slots at the backup OF positions and in the pinch hitter list). When I pick the Slick Fielder lineup, same thing happens to Mr. Sluggo.
Hope this bug can get fixed, otherwise not much reason to use the custom lineups feature. Hope this helps, thanks for the attention!
