Anderson allowed 7 hits, 2 walks and struck out 2. He had 2 hits at bat.

We had 15 hits and made 2 errors. Troy made 3.

2B Jack Warren (32-7.2) had 3 hits with a double and a triple, scored 2 runs and had an RBI. 1B George House (26-4.3) had 2 hits with a double, scored a run and had 2 RBIs. LF Ben Smith (25-6.7) had 3 hits, scored 2 runs and had an RBI. RF Jackie Porter (30-6.3) had 2 hits with his 2nd home run of the year and had 2 RBIs.

For Troy, rookie CF Pat Womack (24-6.3) hit 2 triples and scored 2 runs.

Liberty League:
Washington (9) at Rochester (4): Lou Townley (23-3.4) (6-6) over Bill McClean (39-6.0) (2-10). Townley allowed 6 hits, no walks and struck out 10. C Caleb Sawyer (26-8.9) had 3 hits with a double, scored a run and had 2 RBIs. 1B Willie Burton (30-8.5) had 2 hits, a walk, scored 3 runs and had an RBI. 3B John Kron (33-3.6) had 3 hits with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs.

Cincinnati (7) at New York (2): John Stevens (28-8.2) (5-6) over John Allen (26-6.4) (4-4). Stevens allowed 7 hits, 1 walk and struck out 1. LF Fleet Wilcox (28-4.9) hit 3 doubles, drew a walk, scored a run and had an RBI. CF Billy Ross (28-5.6) had 3 hits with 2 doubles, scored 2 runs and had 2 RBIs. For the Gothams, C Everett Hrdlicka (34-7.0) hits 2 doubles, scored a run and had an RBI. LF Joe Olson (28-6.8) wrenched his back and will likely miss the next 3 weeks.

Cleveland (4) at Boston (3): Willis Kornfield (32-6.0) (7-5) over Joe Peters (29-4.9) (9-2). Kornfield allowed 12 hits, 1 walk and struck out 3. At bat, he hit a double and scored a run. Turner allowed 5 hits, no walks and struck out 7. At bat, he had 2 hits with a double. Boston only made 2 errors. Cleveland made 1.
