Grand National Association:

Brooklyn (4) at Providence (7): Sam Paul (30-5.4) (3-7) over Dick Cole (31-5.9) (5-7). Paul allowed 11 hits, 2 walks and struck out 6. Cole allowed 7 hits, 5 walks and struck out 2. LF Charlie Gregor (26-5.2) had 2 hits with a double (his first extra-base hit of the season), a walk and an RBI. Manager/1B Paul Fenner (36-4.6) had 2 hits, a walk, stole a base, scored a run and had 2 RBIs. For Brooklyn, 1B Otis York (29-6.3) had 3 hits with a double, a walk, scored 2 runs and had an RBI. The losing streak is at 11 games.

Milwaukee (6) at Kansas City (5) in 10 innings: Tom Washam (32-6.1) (9-2) over Hosea Alexander (36-4.8) (2-3). Harold Bradley (26-5.1) hit a pinch-hit home run in the top of the 10th to put the Brewers on top. SS Lou Bohus (25-5.4) had 3 hits with a double and a triple and scored 2 runs. 1B Pat Ross (28-5.4) had 3 hits, scored 2 runs and had an RBI. LF Pete Green (36-9.3) had 4 hits with a double, scored a run and had an RBI. For the Cowboys, RF Tommy Dyer (27-3.8) had 2 hits with a double and scored a run. He has hit safely in 20 straight games.

Omaha (1) at Chicago (2): Pony Stanley (22-6.2) (2-0) over Sid Duncan (31-6.8) (2-9). Stanley allowed 6 hits, 3 walks and struck out 2. Duncan allowed 7 hits, 2 walks and struck out, as usual, no one. At bat, he had a hit and scored the run. 2B Henry Potter (31-6.4) had 2 hits, stole a base and had an RBI. SS John Sullivan (39-4.0) hit a double, got beaned and scored both of their runs.
