This is my first quickstart, so I hope you’ll enjoy. This is what I call my « classic Canadian Baseball League ». I’d like to share another version of my CBL once I reach the 2000s with a few more teams and a new independent league. All the logos and uniforms are from the Nickname Project, myself, and various other contributors. No away jerseys, sorry. Adjusted financials (.100 coefficient), 144 games schedule and an 8 round draft following the CIS summer-fall season.
1996 Canadian Baseball League
The Canadian Baseball League was founded in 1946. In its 50th anniversary, it now has 12 teams in two conferences, a AA minor league (Interprovincial Baseball League), a A minor league (Federal Baseball League), and a 24 teams CIS feeder league. The Montréal Machine (formerly the Royaux) and the Winnipeg Thunder have been the most successful franchises in CBL history.
