Grand National Association:

Kansas City (2) at Pittsburgh (3) in 10 innings: Tom Adams (30-6.0) (2-1) over Frank Parsons (31-5.8) (3-2). In 10 innings, Adams allowed 7 hits, 1 walk and struck out 4. Parsons pitched more than 9 innings for the 3rd start in a row. He allowed 10 hits, walked 4 and struck out 3. 1B Cal Campbell (26-7.2) had 3 hits, stole a base and had an RBI. CF Al Steel (25-7.0) had 2 walks and ended the game with a triple. 3B Charlie Hart (25-2.9) continued his hot hitting. He had 2 hits with a double, giving him 8 extra-base hits in the first 7 games.

Brooklyn (8) at Omaha (6): Dick Cole (31-5.9) (2-2) over Sid Duncan (31-6.8) (0-2). RF Harry Mihlbauer (26-5.7) had 3 hits, scored 2 runs and had 2 RBIs. 2B Henry Weaver (32-3.9) had 3 hits with a double and 3 RBIs.

Baltimore (6) at Milwaukee (5) in 12 innings: Sammy O'Quinn (23-5.9) (1-0) in relief of Pop Yurkovich (33-5.6) over Dan Burton (29-4.9) (2-3). O'Quinn pitched 2 scoreless innings, allowing 2 hits. Yurkovich went 10 innings, allowed 11 hits, no walks and struck out 7. Burton pitched all 12 innings, allowed 12 hits, 2 walks and struck out 3. SS Jake Steitz (26-4.7) had 3 hits with a double, scored 2 runs and had 2 RBIs. Manager/C Jake Houghton (34-5.4) had 3 hits and scored a run. For the Brewers, 1B Pat Ross (28-5.4) had 3 hits and scored a run.
