RF Fred Umbaugh (24-5.4) had 3 hits, scored 2 runs and had 2 RBIs. 3B Erve More (26-4.5) hit 3 triples to tie the MLB record and scored a run. For the Colts, CF George Wayman (28-5.9) had 3 hits with a double and a home run, scored 3 times and had 3 RBIs.
C Harry Farrell (33-5.6), who won a Gold Glove for Omaha in 1883, has signed a contract to play for the Meriden Maroons in the Connecticut State League.
