Roldan edges Sutherland on a war!

Juan Domingo Roldan 5-3-2 (3) scored a slim MD10 win against Murray Sutherland 8-5-0 (3) on an action filled fight. Roldan started strong and dropped Sutherland at the end of the first round with a big right. Roldan continued in control on the second stanza but then on rounds three and four the action was back and forth and even. The fifth was again big for Roldan that also edged the sixth round. The seventh had little action with Sutherland a bit better. On the last three rounds Sutherland pressured the actions and dropped Roldan on the eighth round and again on the last round but it wasn't enough to win. The scorecards were 94-93 (x2) for Roldan and 94-94.
On the co-feature event Mustafa Hamsho 8-6-1 (3) was lucky in scoring a TKO9 win -on cuts- against Frank Fletcher 5-4-1 (3). At the time of the stoppage Fletcher was well ahead on the scorecards 77-74 (x2) and 78-73. The fight was stopped due to a cut under Fletcher left eyebrow produced on the fifth round by a straight right by Hamsho and reopened on the ninth round. Fletcher was in control most of the fight and he gave a real beating to Hamsho on the second. The fight had a very quick pace.
On the second fight of the night Mike Rossman 8-6-0 (3) scored a UD10 win against Tony Sibson 7-6-1 (3). Rossman dominated the first half of the fight in which the referee also deducted a point from Sibson for headbutting. On the last four rounds Sibson made a hard charge but it wasn't enough for the judges. The scorecards were 96-95, 96-94 and 97-93 for Rossman.
On the first fight of the night Miguel Angel Cuello 7-5-0 (4) scored a wide UD10 win against Eddie Davis 6-4-2 (3). Cuello controlled the first round but then Davis clearly outpunched him on the following two rounds but it was all. From round four to the end Cuello had the total control of the fight. The scorecards were 98-91 (x2) and 99-90 for Cuello.
