Question/Query: I've compiled a list of guys who I think the defensive ratings are short changing. I think it's that the range/error/arm ratings are too low, but you would know better than me. Defense is the toughest nut to crack of course. The stats for hitting and pitching are much easier to apply to ratings. If you could possibly take a look, I'd appreciate it. If you feel they're fine, that's cool too. This is from starting a historical 2014 game with the Spritze database:
Manny Machado 3B (machama01)

Salvador Perez C (Catcher Ability fine, Catcher Arm looks too low) (perezsa02)

Most of these guys are guys who have emerged defensively (with the exception of Utley and Zobrist who have more experience, and Plouffe who, while not tremendous defensively, deserves better in the DP rating) in the last three full seasons, while Lahman was out chasing butterflies (kidding, just kidding!), so they may have gotten missed/not be getting their due because of that. Maybe it's all controlled by the stats, so not much can be done, I don't know. That's why I'll leave it in your capable hands. Thanks.
