Clemente i would most likely retire automatically, since he died. That being said Oscar Tavares is closing in on 2000 Hits in 2023. i use 1 yr recalc in all historical leagues. It seemed when I used 3 yr that Babe Ruth would move from P to RF later then 1920, now I have yet to play that era on 16 I last played that era on 14. When i used 1 yr players like Honus Wagner & Keeler would switch to a new position each year, Sometimes I will use career fielding and career Stamina which makes Eck a CL for his career. Don;t use scouting, as mentioned above, you know who the good ones are and it throws a weird balance into the league. OSA ratings are close to how the player was IRL.
