I spend time on the draft, trades, FA signing, and extensions. Sometimes I'll fiddle with lineups when roster expansion hits. Seasons only take me 25-30 minutes if that. Caveat to that is I'm talking about my fictional indy league world with only an 80 game season and a 2 round draft.

One of the great things about this game is the infinite different ways to play the game.
