It takes me about a month to get through a year.
I do a lot of writing and tabulating and perusing every day so that I know my universe inside-out. I used to go a lot faster, but became irritated when I would notice things that had been going on for months or years in my universe that I hadn't noticed before. Or missed someone performing some heroics.
