I've been wondering why the AI picks a few players. Besides a few out of position players the AI loves to keep one or two starter quality players in the reserve roster for those that use a reserve roster. At first I thought it was my manager/coach settings but it isn't just prospects or veterans it seems arbitrary almost. Right now my team has the second best RP on my team on the reserve roster and has several guys who's combined ratings aren't even as good as the guy not getting time. Same happens for one or hitters a year too.
