IPA THIRD ALL-DECADE TEAM 2021-2030

LF Donnie Lewis (2010-2029)
For 20 years Donnie Lewis the Third Decade Team's left fielder was a standout performer for the Rolling Hills Reds (14 seasons) and the Ancona Red Elephants (6 seasons)... he was a 5-time All-Star and career .307 hitter... Lewis ranked 9th in the IPA with 1837 walks, 17th in doubles with 583, 17th in runs with 1886, 22nd in hits with 3234 and 22nd in stolen bases with 537... he hit only 148 homers, but possessed a impressive .412 on-bat percentage... Lewis had two of his best years late in his career, batting .321 at age 35 with 115 RBIs and 114 runs... and a .320 mark at age 37 with 120 RBIs and 108 runs... he was voted into the Islandian Pro Alliance Hall of Fame in 2045 after retiring at 39... the main factors were his .307 lifetime BA and his 3234 hits, the magic numbers for getting into the elite group... the fact that he wasn't a power hitter and only made the playoffs twice in his career kept him out of Hall for quite a few years.
