Actually, I almost never send a runner home from 2B on a single UNLESS there are two outs; the only exceptions are when it's late in the game and it's the tying or winning run.

If it were obviously wrong you would be just one of hundreds posting on it. I'd be there with them.
You can make a change to the success rates of runners advancing. Look for a file called engine.cfg. It is a text file that allows you to control the outcomes of many specific occurrences in-game. See how to find it below.
