Liberty League Games:
Cleveland (5) at Detroit (9): William Rose (33-4.9) (3-6) over Tom Marshman (33-4.7) (3-4). Rose allowed 9 hits, no walks and struck out 2. At bat, he had a hit and scored 2 runs. C Evan Eckberg (28-3.5), who seems to be mentioned in nearly every dispatch, had 2 hits, a walk, scored a run and had an RBI and threw out 3 of 4 base stealers. For the Spiders, ss Jesse Flanders (24-5.4) had 2 hits with his 2nd home run of the year and had 2 RBIs.

Boston (5) at Troy (3): Joe Peters (28-4.9) (3-3) over John Bendickson (32-6.0) (2-4). Peters allowed 9 hits, walked 1 and struck out 9. Bendickson allowed 9 hits, walked 3 and struck out 7. C Wiley Fobes (33-2.5) had 3 hits with his 3rd home run of the season and 2nd in as many days. He had 2 RBIs.

New York (7) at Cincinnati (2): Jack Roberts (32-6.1) (6-4) over John Stevens (27-8.2) (3-5). Roberts allowed 7 hits, no walks and struck out 5. CF Hi Lynch (33-7.5) had 3 hits with a triple and his 2nd home run of the season, scored 2 runs and had 3 RBIs. SS Jimmy Mark (39-4.9) had a double and a triple, scored a run and had 2 RBIs.

Washington (9) at St. Louis (3): Will Taylor (37-7.9) (1-2) over Daisy Neidigh (36-7.4) (1-2). Taylor allowed 9 hits, walked 1 and did not strike out anyone. At bat, he had 3 hits and 3 RBIs. LF Ace Trimmell (26-5.0) had 2 hits with his 2nd home run of the year, scored twice and had 3 RBIs.
