This series I'm confident because El Paso's name is the Beefeaters. Hopefully, we make them eat the meat of the baseball.
Kansas City (3-6) vs. El Paso (3-6)
Game 10: Negrón (1-1 3.27) vs. Krause (0-1 14.54)
Krause gives me confidence for this game. And indeed we should have. But it didn't save. 164 game season I suppose. 6-1 Brigadiers
Game 10: Sims (0-1 2.70) vs. Torres (0-0 1.50)
Well what a game now. Damn. And we lose 8-7. This bug annoys me. We're now 5-7 (3-7 actually).
Game 11: Gonzáles (0-1 3.55) vs. Sakamoto (1-0 3.38)
I give up at the moment. Wait....a combined 3 hit shutout? Hell Yeah! After I trash Delgado (who before the game was 1/10 with 5 K's) smacks 2 doubles. Hell yeah!
1-0 Brigadiers
Game 12: Brown (0-1 4.26) vs. Gardner (0-1 14.09)
Another bode of confidence. Ah. Another win? Yep. 11-10 in extra innings. Flores and Bennett hit 3 run shots and Vázquez added a solo smack. Negrón picked up win number 3 in relief. Yep.
Other news:
April 10th: Atlanta star 38 y/o CF Miller is out for two weeks.
April 11th: Outlawz outfielder Sakata is out for 4 months.
April 12th: Hustlers 1B James Carey goes 5-5 against Fort Worth.
April 13th: POTW awards are handed out. Injured Sakata earns one.
April 14th: Martín Encarnación resigns with the Swat for 2 years at 20.6 mil a year. We trade away Jennings for a backup 1B and every outfield position, Tim Hayden. Miguel Martínez, the 4th free agent signing of the year, replaces Jennings in the pen.
