7th April 1882
After three seasons, where they have just missed out on the MLB Championship, the fans are hoping the team can take that final step and win the MLB title they crave. The Independent League Assessors have said that they feel the team has finally reached it pinnacle and is on its way back down. They see the team finishing in 4th place in the AL table but still above the 4 new teams.
The MLB has decided to keep a schedule of 84 games but has changed the league running time so that it now currently only runs from April to mid July before the play offs. This change in structure for the schedule will put a lot of pressure on the pitchers as the league still specifies only 2 starters can be selected. This also means the All Star Game is going to be played at the end of May.
After another tough spring training regimen for the players the GM and Manager feel they have found the players to take them to that title. The chosen 25 on the opening day roster as given below.
