The new White Sox team have had a tough off season as they have only picked up 1 pitcher. This will make the start to their season rough as they look for further pitchers. The Independent League Assessors are sure that the new White Sox team are going to struggle. They see them finishing last in the AL with a very low 18 wins only.
The MLB has decided to keep a schedule of 84 games but has changed the league running time so that it now currently only runs from April to mid July before the play offs. This change in structure for the schedule will put a lot of pressure on the pitchers as the league still specifies only 2 starters can be selected. This also means the All Star Game is going to be played at the end of May.
The new GM and Manager assessed the squad during spring training and came up with the following opening day roster. This is very likely to change once some new pitchers have been found.
