I think I have found a real sweet find (I hope you will all agree). This is the Tempe (AZ) Crimson Rims. They were a multi-racial team in the started in the early 1890's and playing until 1906 or so. The team consisted of players of African American, Hispanic, and European ancestry. The team was named after the crimson rim, a type of bicycle wheel that was popular at the time. The man responsible for putting the team together was an owner of a bicycle shop in Tempe. I included a team photo and photo of the replica jersey made by Ebbets Field Flannel. The EFF jersey is a road one. If anyone wants to try this or make a home white one, feel free.
