Signing Tim Waters to a 10 yr contract might be the best deal I have ever made. He is a home state hero and is loved by Ford fans. I hope to sign Spear, Kline, Walker & Dimmesdale to long term deals soon.
July was a good month for us. Despite the injuries to Pearl & Millatone , we did not lose much. Pearl has been back for a few days and will platoon at DH & 3B with Mack & San Antonio vs RHP and will start @ 3B vs LHP while San Antonio will backup C & 3B. Paul Maclean seems to have settled in as the #5 starter. Burke has rebounded from injuries and a poor start. We still lack pop and hitting ability vs LHP but we will work on that in the final 2 months.
