A jail broken phone or iPad means the protection to see all the files is removed.
I used it on an iPad also. That is how I transfer saved games from one device to another.
Once you have iFunBox it should be fairly easy to use if you're proficient. It's basically a file explorer. I use a MAC though not a PC but I think it works on PC also.
