Grand National Association Games:
Philadelphia (4) at Providence (6): Egyptian Hooker (35-3.9) (6-7) over Jim Postema (33-5.5) (6-10). 1B Charlie Gregor (24-5.2) had 3 hits and 2 RBIs.

Pittsburgh (8) at Baltimore (3): Mark Humphry (38-5.9) (7-7) over Pop Yurkovich (31-5.6) (10-10). Humphry allowed 7 hits, no walks and struck out 3. C Cliff Robinson (25-6.1) had 4 hits with a triple, scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The Orioles announced the RF Bill Fogle (24-5.3), who was injured in yesterday's contest, will have to miss a month of action. He is leading the Grand National Association in batting average at the moment with a .367 mark.

Liberty League Games:

Troy (0) at Washington (5): John Callaham (34-5.5) (5-6) over John Bendickson (31-6.0) (3-11). Callaham allowed 11 hits, no walks and struck out 4. Bendy allowed 9 hits, walked 1 and struck out 4. C Frank Douglas (28-5.8) had 3 hits with a double and 2 RBIs and threw out both runners that trued to steal a base. SS Bill Scott (27-3.5) had 3 hits with a double and a triple, scored a run and had an RBI.

Utica (3) at Boston (14): William Little (22-6.0) (2-1) over Willis Kornfield (30-6.0) (7-6). Little allowed 6 hits, no walks and struck out 4. He also hit a double and had an RBI. SS Mike Stables (27-7.1) had 3 hits with a double, stole a base, scored 2 run and had 2 RBIs. 3B Sandy Perkes (33-3.5) had 3 hits with a double and a triple, scored 2 runs and had an RBI.
