The Biloxi Shuckers (a person "who shucks oysters") is another bad name... Biloxi is a very nice resort town with beautiful sand and sea... they could have chosen like Biloxi Blues (Keesler Air Force Base used to be the biggest employer)... or something sea related... like Blue Marlins or Buccaneers... or Sunbirds (for all the Snowbirds that come south for the winter or tourists that come in the summer).

Biloxi doesn't actually have beautiful sand and sea. There are no snowbirds there. Why? Because the water is brown as the Mississippi River is in New Orleans.
Shuckers is great name and speaks to the whole Mississippi gulf coast. The seafood industry is huge there. Oysters are seafood.
