While I'm at it, I'll respond to this post that darkcloud4579 wrote last month:

		| You can find everyone of those in the forums. With cap and everything. In some cases, you'd match say a "S" or "T" cap with a home "Giants" jersey.
The Jets are in this thread, as are Dodgers (multiple), Indians and others. Generally, major league team nicknames are super easy to find and you're never the first person to have wanted them or to find them.

I don't want to be that guy but let this be a deterrent to others. I once ran a league for a bunch of years in OOTP and at a certain point, what seems like fun to you becomes a labor and a chore. When people are donating their time and contributing to the community, we all have to be respectful and mindful of what we're asking of them and ultimately, not to be too greedy.

The other thing is, I know I've contributed a lot to the OOTP community over the years on beta for probably 7 or 8 years and in mods that have received thousands of downloads over the past few years too. So I feel less bad asking occasionally, knowing that I'm always around the contribute, answer questions and help others enjoy the game as much I have over the years.

But it can't be a one-sided thing, especially when you're making horrifically large requests that show a kind of tone deafness that is really just disrespectful to the people who come here and lend their talent FOR FREE.

You know how many times I've wanted to send knuck and tx a PM to say "look, I know I'm asking for a lot. Can I pay you for your time?" I don't do it, because I don't want to turn what's fun into work, but that's the kind of thought I know that I -- and surely others -- put into asking for stuff on this thread and others.

They're grown men and can do whatever the hell they want. I just felt the need to speak up because it really really bugs me when people show up throwing around demand of people who are sometimes just too nice to say something and who want to be good partners to the community and truly enjoy what they're doing.

But let this be a reminder to all of us that we have to take care of each other, because we're all human and many of us come here to escape and enjoy a game that's been good to us for a long time. Let's not abuse that.

First off, I acknowledge that I do request teams that may be available elsewhere on the forums. However I enjoy what knuckler and txranger do and like to have their creations in my game. Also, it is very time consuming to make jerseys of my own (which I have done btw), and I believe everyone deserves a break at some point.
Secondly, I don't, and I repeat DON'T, aim to disrespect either knuckler or txranger by making requests such as the one I made above. As I mentioned in the previous paragraph, their work is very aesthetically pleasing and I love to have it in my game. Also, I DO understand that I'm working with humans, because I am one as well (in case you didn't know).
Also, the requests I make aren't "horrifically large" as you mention. Count all the teams that I just requested above. 12 teams. Just imagine if I requested all the real life minor league teams I've added to my league during the 60s. That would be 60 teams! Now THAT is horrifically large.
I do not intend to boss anyone around. I sincerely love the game and having immersion in my game is very important to me. So I'm bound to make requests like that. That's just the way I am.
I know I probably should have put this in another post, but I've wanted to respond to that post since it was made. I'm glad I finally got that off my chest.
