I'm quite happy with .750 aging speed. Prime years seem to be in that 24-25 to 32-34 year old range while continuing to be productive into late 30's for the star players. Most of the Superstar's retire around 38-39. a very small % 40-41. I really wasn't happy with the default setting but that's just me.

.750 aging for both batters and pitchers. ( Star Pitchers seem to last until 40-41)
1.000 dev speed for both pitchers and batters

This is for fictional league.
