You could even have the Woonsocket Naps to honor Napoleon Lajoie (like Cleveland did).
Anyway, I'm following this project of yours very closely, since I live just across the border, and I often travel to Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine. I can't wait to see what you'll come up with. I know it's gonna be amazing!

Thanks for the suggestions and info, it's much appreciated. It gives me the idea that one of the Maine teams could use Acadians as well. As DC noted, the Woonsocket Naps is fantastic.

I appreciate the help, EC. It's going to take me awhile to get through this league so take your time with your research.

BRIDGEPORT
Bridgeport Barnums (for the P. T. Barnum Circus... housed in Bridgeport for years... it was Barnum's home).
Bridgeport Clowns (circus connection)
Bridgeport Big Tops (circus connection)
Bridgeport Greens (town is known as "The Park City"... Barnum and others donated land for Seaside Park, which now covers 375 acres... Seaside Park was designed by Central Park's architect, Frederick Law Olmsted... home of the Frisbee.

The circus references are particularly good to me.

I really like the Legends idea.
