Your link however shows a different case, an enterprise ignoring a cease and desist letter.
I think it is extremly unlikely that a private user would get in trouble for using a proxy. They can't stop millions of illegal streamers that pay nothing, so why would they be able to stop streamers in a legal gray area? And, considering they would be losing paying customers, would they want to if they could?
