The fans of the Blues saw their team again finish last in the AL table this year. The team had an excellent start to the year once again but then frustrated their fans by doing their normal mid to end of season form dip. The fans are just hoping for a season where they can see this form dip not happen. The team did manage 25 wins during the season but they were still 4 games behind third place.
The team finished the regular season with a 1-2 series loss against the Baltimore Orioles 2-5, 6-4 and 2-3
The batting had a tough year as they struggled for both hits and runs. The best of the starters was 4 year veteran Third Baseman Bill Hague. Hague started all 60 games and faced 254 pitchers. This plate work saw him claim 74 hits to score 32 runs and 18 hits. His average for the year was .291 which is his best while being a starter.
Will White had a solid first season as the starter for the Cleveland Blues. He started 57 games and pitched 486 innings. He gave up 515 hits and 132 earned runs during this work on the mound during the year. His ERA from this work was 2.44.
