Tianjin had a 1-0 lead heading into the 7th, when Bei Qin ties the game with a RBi single and Iwasaki gave the Hopestars the lead with a solo home run. Hisashi Hirata ties the game with a solo home run. A Wild Pitch in TOP 9th gave the Lions the lead. An error by Zai Guoyuan allowed the tying run to reach base. Bei would bring the tying run home with a Sac Fly. In TOP 10th, Xuan Lixing RBI single gives the Lions the lead. You Jianwei would close it out for the Lions.

With the win, the Lions are a win away from winning the first ever Emperor's Cup and they have a chance to celebrate in Tianjin as the series heads back there.
