I'm falling behind a little compared to you folks but playing my other game opponent, he is back in the saddle and trying to make up for lost time so it's been a little sporadic on the reports and the mistakes I see when I come back to the screens are like "I can't
believe I didn't catch that before I posted it!"
Anyway my $.02 here is you need to make a list of players and positions you want to scout while your out of the playoffs - soon to be free agents - overseas scouting for diamonds in the rough - deeper rounds scouting of the major junior leagues. I extensively scout 5 to 10 NHL players while the playoffs go on just to target one or two in FA.
I think your owner will give you another year to produce IMHO you had a lot of promise and lost close games so figure 5 games won instead of lost would have made you a middle of the pack team.
