Bottom Three finish is probably not the way you were expecting to finish your first season, but with a rebuild this will give you a good opportunity to go out and get that player that you can see yourself building a team around. Hopefully the owner is accepting of this lost season as a means to get to the long term goal of becoming an NHL playoff team. There was some great development all season so maybe some of your prospects are ready to make the jump at an easy cap hit freeing you up to find another solid piece in free agency.
I can't wait to see how you present the draft to us, and I really hope you have a job next year.
