Note too that whatever All-Star Game date you had selected in the options before importing a schedule will be overridden if you are using the date specified in the schedule file. The in-game screen display won't update to show the file's date (or at least, it didn't used to).

More than unfortunately worded, it is the default option (I think)! Why would they make the default option create something which is obviously not desirable?
To be clear, I never imported any schedule (don't even know how). I just trusted the default. Can you tell me more about this? Should I have imported one?
