The fans of the White Stockings are looking forward to another season and hope that their team will produce another pennant winning season. The independent league assessors are not sure they have quite the strength this year to win the pennant as they see the team falling to second place with 32 wins.
The MLB schedule will continue to be 60 games again this year.
The only off-season news that has affected the squad is that Short Stop Ross Barnes injured his shoulder throwing his alarm clock at the wall. This injury was assessed as a 4 week injury and he will miss at least the first 2 weeks of the season.
With this in mind the GM and Manager have selected the following players for the opening day roster.
