After another tough season the fans of the Brown Stockings saw a shake up in the front office. The team decided to sack Manager Pat Brown and then promote bench coach Aaron Compton to the Manager position. While this is a strange move by the club, Aaron Compton is highly thought of and the fans hope he will turn the fortunes round.
Left Fielder George Hall and Centre Fielder Frank McCarton both won golden gloves as they were voted to the AL defensive team of the year.
