So, besides those other teams, every other team started in mid-April: not normal. The schedule went all the way into mid-October: not normal. But, this didn't really hurt anything so I wasn't worried.

Until I got into mid-season and the All-Star game was scheduled on the same day as every team playing their normal schedule!! NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Why on earth did this happen? Is there a way to reschedule the all-star game so something very unrealistic happens? HELP!!!!
NO. This is somewhat sort of a bug...not really, but OOTP doesn't check the loaded schedules for an already scheduled all-star game and it should, as many schedules have the all-star game built in. All the ones I do for ootp do.
Your problem is ootp loaded the wrong schedule. It used the 2014 MLB schedule and it shouldn't have done that the following yr.
The only way I could get this problem fixed is to have you zip and upload the .dat files so I can send them to Markus to look at as this shouldn't happen ever.
Lesson learned...always check your schedules during pre-season!!
Hint: Use your manager notes to auto remind you..it's easy to forget.
